This silver-haired bat is one of those migratory species. Instead of sleeping in caves this bat actually roosts in tree bark and tree cavities. This handsome guy was found in busy Canal Park next to a door. We didn’t find any injuries on him so we will keep him for a short time to help him bulk up and get rehydrated so he can continue his journey sout
